More About Persephone

PERSEPHONE is a lovely, sweet-natured auburn lady with tiger-striped front paws and beautiful eyes. She and her children were rescued from a hoarding situation where rabbits were dying by the dozen. (That's not an exaggeration.) We think she was born no earlier than the spring of 2005. >>PERSEPHONE has loads of personality. She's not a bossy rabbit, but she doesn't take any "guff", and has very decided opinions on how to arrange a habitat! PERSEPHONE's ideal life is as a free-range house rabbit -- but you needn't worry about mess, because she is excellent with her litter box. More than anything, she wants to be a real "companion rabbit" -- your best friend. >>PERSEPHONE doesn't like water and has an ongoing problem with dehydration, which can threaten her life. We are handling this by adding apple juice to her water, and under this regime, she is doing just fine.>>
