Hi, my name is Isis!! I first met ARK when they found out I had been hit by car. The car didn’t stop but a Good Samaritan saw it happen and rescued me. My injuries ultimately led to the amputation of my front leg, but I never lost my enthusiasm for life’s next big adventure.
Don’t let my three legs fool you. I get around better than most of the dogs I’m around and as a matter of fact, I tend to run circles around them! For this reason I may be a bit too much for younger children. I would probably fit into a home with children at least 10 years or older.
I’m as healthy as a horse, solid as a rock, and as busy as the Energizer bunny. I’m a social butterfly – I love meeting new people! I really like to play with my dog friends in my foster home, but I think I’d do best with a male friend who will allow me to be the princess of my adoptive family.
I’m about 3 years old and weigh approximately 40 lbs. Not only am I crate- trained, but I’m housebroken as well. All of my vet work is current too. Really the only thing I’m lacking is a forever home. If you’re interested in adopting me, applications can be found on our website at

Isis' adoption donation is $150. We are accepting applications from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and surrounding cities only.
Isis is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
