You can't help but smile in the presence of Candy. She is happy-go-lucky, goofy, and loves people. She's somewhat mischievous with other dogs but is a relatively low-key dog for someone her age. Like most dogs of her breed, she's very people-oriented, tends to follow you around, and thinks she's a lap dog. However, she's got an independent streak so she's not an extreme velcro dog.
Candy is as sweet as the day is long. She does well with other animals and loves to play with children. She minds well and wants to please. Candy is always tossing her belly up in the air for belly rubs when someone reaches to pet her. Plays balls but likes keep away better. Good on a leash, house-trained, crate-trained, rides well in the vehicle and knows basic obedience commands.
