More About MILTON

Still looking for the right home for this very soft-furred and sweet fluffy boy - mostly white with black matching markings on top of head and some black on body, and a black fluffy tail, 2 yrs. old. Milton and his shorthaired calico sister, Manda were a bit scared when we first got them, (for Manda's pix, see separate listing under her name), but they were both totally docile and handleable, and tamed down almost immediately. Manda is just a bit more skittish on occasion than Milton. They love to play together and ideally, we would like to keep them together as they'd make an ideal pair, although we'd consider separating them. Milton loves to be cuddled and to lapsit - he's playful (he does get up on things sometimes, and Manda's all over the place, but she's small and dainty) yet Milton is also laid back, and both kitties have wonderful purr motors. Both cats like to sleep with their foster mom at night. Manda, however, is much more independent than Milton. As he's become more mature Milton occasionally tries to assert himself with one or two of our other male cats who are dominant (but it's because we have a LOT of cats in a fairly small area - he'd probably be fine with just a few othersin a home, but he perhaps shouldn't be with another very dominant male, although he generally gets along well with other cats and may be fine once the new cats have established theirpecking order. These kitties were originally trapped near Schiano's/Petsmart in Harbison. Mama and kittens tested negative for leuk and FIV, M&M are fixed already, all shots included. Stable, committed Columbia metro area adopters only, please - will do best with adult adopters. Please e-mail us at carocats@petfinder.org and tell us briefly where you live, type of housing (own home, apartment, condo, mobile home, etc.), ages of children if any, your vet's name, whether you prefer an indoor or indoor-outdoor kitty, with claws or declawed, and a little about pets you have owned past and present - their likes and dislikes, and what you liked or didn't like about their personalities and behaviors - we'll get back with you just as soon as we can.
