Becky was a turn in by an elderly lady who couldnt care for her anymore but took extremly good care of becky while having her - she even kept a record of all vet visits and shots. Becky is about 6 months old - she is a brindle with brown as the dominant color - she is a sweet heart - and loves to play and is very sociable with other dogs here at the rescue - but because she is a pit - we will examine any possible adoptive parents very closely - we would like to see previous pit experience with pic's - and you must qualify with all our requirements - which are: you must be a home owner, with a good size fenced back yard with a minimum 5 ft fence and no escape areas - live in the Nashville, Davidson county or one county over - fill out our adoption forms - and have a home inspection prior to adopting: Some say our adoption requirements are too hard - but I'm not in this business to please other rescues, I'm in this business to find the perfect home for the animals I've rescued - and if your a true pit bull lover you can appreciate what I'm doing so that this pit doesn't get into the wrong hands for adoption - Our adoption fee is $100 which includes her shots - rabies - taken to groomers on the day of adoption - and 50 pounds of dog food to get you started - = we will also check with your city area about allowing pits in your town - we also follow up with surprise inspections in 30 - 60 and 90 days, and again in 6 months for follow up to make sure the animal is in good shape and not neglected - in the event the dog looks neglected - you give happy endings animal rescue the right to come on your property and retrieve the dog to be brought back to the rescue - please understand that pits are high risk pets and not liked to much by the community. We will take any of our dogs back if the adoption doesn't work and return any adoption fee within the first 6 months - true lovers of pits and love them as pets are few and far between - they are loyal pets - but with the publicity lately on pits and bites we have to be extremely careful as to who gets Becky - for more information - please email us... - for those of you who might be interested in breading her - its too late - she has already been neutered... i use to transfer pits to a pit rescue for adoption - but the local pit rescue here in Nashville has been banned from a lot of rescues for breeding of pits and selling them to help pay for costs involved in her rescue - rescues and breeders don't mix - we try to save what they keep popping out for money and not caring where they go - i will never support or help a breeder - so i am put into the position to find a home for this cute pit through my resources...Sept 10, 05 - we adopted becky out to a wonderful home who passed our adoption qualifications with flying colors - i know becky will be loved in her forever home...
