More About Dosie

Dosie-6 year old kelpie mix. Female spayed, very smart, knows how to open gates, loves to please people once she gets to know them. Prefers women but does like some men-she loves my husband. She originally was a shelter pup that my sister adopted when she was 6 weeks old, my sister wanted a rott/shep as a guard dog, but ended up with a short legged kelpie/heeler/bordercollie type dog who was scared of her own shadow...thus Dosie came to live with us 2 years ago. Her name is Dosie or Doce because she has double declaws making her have 12 back toenails. We have had her for 2 years but still would love her to find a home that she can be top dog (we have 7 personal dogs) Adoption fee $95.00
spayed, vaccinated, hw neg, cratetrained

She is very smart and knows how to flip open chainlink latches, this can be stopped by putting a pin or snap thru the latch. She also needs a 5-6 foot fence.
She has been cratetrained so a transitition to being a housedog should be easy for her.

Adoption requirements:

1. This dog's new home must have a secure fence preferrably 6 foot tall for large dogs and at least 4 foot tall for small dogs. Please send pictures of yard to ranchresort@aol.com if not located in San Angelo.

2. Must be 18 years of age

3. Adopters that rent their home must give landlord's information to New Beginnings prior to adoption and permission to have pets will be confirmed.

4. We prefer that dogs be kept as indoor housepets (some exceptions)

5. Standard Adoption fee is $95.00 (some exceptions)

BEFORE ADOPTION: All of New Beginnings Animal Rescue's pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, given their first heartworm preventative and given a leash/collar/tags.
Some pets may be visited before their visit to the vet is complete.

Dosie is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
