More About PugsLee

CONGRATULATIONS! PUGSLEE WAS ADOPTED 09/10/05.

Howdy Everyone! My name is PugsLee. I'm over a year old and weigh about 25 lbs. My former family left town and didn't take me with them. I guess they didn't love me enough.

As of 04/22/05; I'm living at my foster mom's house. She and I are getting to know each other. So far; she's caught on to the fact that I'm crate trained and house trained. I need supervision when running around the house because I like to play with things she doesn't think I should have. Stealing the kitchen towel is a really fun game but my foster mom says it's not. I also like to see what I can find in the bathroom tissue can but my foster mom says it's not for me. I've explained to her that I'm a very busy kind of fellow and full of energy. She bought me a bunch of really neat toys and I play with them to keep her happy. I also like to snuggle with her on the couch, chair or bed. I much prefer the bed but I'm willing to sleep in my own crate as long as I have a nice fluffy bed and blanket.

Today (07/2/05); my foster mom took me to the doggy grooming parlor; "Spruce Your Pooch" at Wagg'n Tails and I had a day of pamper! Gosh..I really liked all the attention and especially the bath! Made me feel like a new fellow! My foster mom said I was such a good boy and she even got me some new chewies.

I'm going to choose my new home very carefully. A physicial fenced yard and in house living with my family is a must! I'd really like for my new family to make me the center of their universe. I like to go for walks so plan on that! I don't think little kids would be a good idea as they don't know how to interact with a little guy like me. Older kids might be okay as long as they know how to properly interact with a guy like me. Maybe somebody that's retired or is home a lot to shower me with attention! Whoever you may be..be ready! I have lots of energy!

My adoption donation is $125.00 which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided to me including neuter, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing.

My adoption process begins with an application which is a tool the Franklin County Humane Society uses to make a good forever home match. Please send me an email and I'll send you my application. Maybe we could meet some Saturday at Wagg'n Tails!

Hope to hear from YOU soon!

PugsLee is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
