More About Sammy

080305: Sammy got himself a home!!!! AND he gets to go with his friend Baby Cakes too!! Thanks Mike & Debbie & Toby for welcoming them into your home!! 12-21-04: Sammy is being fostered in Plymouth, MI. So far he doesn't really play with the other dogs, but loves to be cuddled and pounce at his humans. His new owner will need to monitor his food intake, or he will get very overweight as he LOVES to eat!! He has the "bad knees" which many poms have in the back legs, and we don't recommend him around small children for his own safety. His coat is growing out but is getting very dense and will require regular care. He doesn't particularly like being brushed yet, but he's learning. Sammy's adoption fee is $275. To apply for Sammy, please fill out our mini app on our main page (click the adopt an angel link near the top to go to it). 12-18-04: Sammy is a lovable little white/blond "puffball" who loves attention and thinks he is in charge!! He came from a puppymill and lost several teeth in his dental but doesn't let that bother him at all. He eats dry food - in fact almost inhales it!! He loves to play and tease, and of course EAT!! We are looking for a home where people are home a lot and can give him all the attention he craves and has missed all his life. We are trying to get his exact age, but think he is around 5-6, although he acts much younger and tears around in circles playing. Sammy is an "alpha male" and needs to be placed with a girl, or a very submissive boy. Although, since neutering, his attitude is improving with the other males too, so he may be fine, but would have to meet the other dog to be sure. Sammy is crate trained, and doing well on housebreaking. His adoption fee is $275 to reimburse his vetting and expenses. A picture will be added tomorrow.
Home without children (< 5 yrs old)

Sammy is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
