Bluebelle is as dear and gentle as her name implies, and so grateful and happy to be in rescue care. She is a beautiful and lithe dog with refined bone and features; her coat is a wonderful canvas of various shades of greys and blues and smatterings of speckles on a milky white background .Her warm and and honest eye contact is filled with hope and an appeal for belonging.

Bluebelle is a real heartbreaker in her eagerness to be special, to be important, and to be loved. Between her youthful and innocent clumsiness and her earnest overtures is a dog who would work hard to find a relationship, and even harder to keep it.

Still young, Bluebelle is open and expectant. Her energy and enthusiasm are tempered with a soulful intelligence, and devout willingness to please and cooperate; she will be a pleasure to train.

This willingness to please, along with her desire to find a bond and relationship that are hers to keep, express themselves in every aspect of Bluebelle's demeanor. She is extremely trusting physically, and so grateful for attention and petting. She is easy to handle, and appreciative of any contact - even nail trimming. She is wonderfully responsive.

Filled with houndly goodwill, Bluebelle is as joyful as she can be with the simple fare of rescue care, and is abject in her appreciation of food and attention. But she also is a dog of deep intelligence and great heart, and she could offer a profound devotion to her adoptive human. The basic training that Bluebelle needs will provide her adopter not only an opportunity to bond with her, but the chance to be the center of her universe.
