More About WHISKER MASCOT CAT
The amazing cat that started it all is "WHISKERS". He was rescued from an abusive owner. Though he was a trusting and sweet boy, that did not stop his owner from abusing him so severely that he was paralyzed for more than ten weeks. "Whiskers" injuries included a broken back, cracked ribs, broken teeth and several visible abrasions. When this poor baby was rescued, he was thin and dirty and in tremedous pain. He had been kept in a cold, porcelain bathtub by his owner because he was paralyzed and could not make it to his litter box. To complicate matters, Whiskers has a damaged retina, most likely inflicted from blunt trauma according to the vet who treated him. Happily, though, "Whiskers" is now SAFE at home with the founder of S.W.R.O. Hence, the story of our mascot cat who is the inspiration behind S.W.R.O...there are too many silent "Whiskers" suffering every minute, of every day. It is our hope that with your help and support we can make a difference with our rescue.
WHISKER MASCOT CAT is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
