More About Little Wren

LITTLE WREN HAS BEEN ADOPTED! HERE'S WHAT HER ADOPTERS HAVE TO SAY:

Hello! Wanted to give you all an update on Wren, who came home with us at the end of March. I think we are one of the few adopters from Melanie's litter that didn't change her name, although we did drop the "Little," as she is not little in stature or attitude! The smallest of the litter, our Wren is growing like crazy, and weighed 15 pounds three weeks ago! We fondly call her "Wrennie," or "Renegade" as she is a little renegade in every way!

She continues to grow and is so, so smart and affectionate. She has finally figured out that three of our four cats are not chew toys, but we are working on helping Murphy put her in her place! She literally sits on him, and nips at him, and he has never raised a claw to her. He just mews pathetically. We're working on Murph's assertiveness training. Wren is not lacking in this capacity!

Wren's energy level matches her attitude. We all come back sweating and panting from "speed of light" walks in attempt to tire her out, and she's not even panting. Our sixteen year old son, who is a Varsity tennis player, is astounded by this. She tires him out! Fortunately, she has our seven year old, who loves her and plays baseball, so she gets to go to practices and games with him and his dad. After two hours of non-stop romping and attention from every kid on the field, she does, in fact, sleep! Watch out when she wakes up though!

We are thoroughly in love with her! She's a smart, high energy, high maintenance little girl, with a saucy attitude and a huge heart. And her beautiful dark brown eyes are enough to melt anyone's heart. She's a perfect fit!
