More About Nicky

Please meet our "irresistible" Nicky. Nicky is a wonderful dog that is a "bit" shy, but he is very sweet and has a gentle disposition. Although, he is shy, you can always see the "want too" in his eyes! Nick would greatly benefit from more love and attention from the same caretaker. He is approximately 8 years old, and unfortunately, has lived his life in rescue care. Nicky is a brother to Noah, (also available for adoption), and they currently share a pen together. Noah is "much" larger than Nicky, and many times Nicky allows Noah to seek much of the attention around them. Noah always makes known that he is the “big” brother. For this reason, sometimes Nicky seems "left-out". He can look at you with the "saddest" eyes and it is obvious he longs to simply be loved. If Nicky were given the opportunity at a "forever" home with patient caretakers, his life would be changed forever. Nicky is smart, and seems eager to learn new things. Most importantly, his heart is made of gold. He is simply seeking someone to love him! Nicky weighs 60 lbs. +, and along with Noah, has been a bit of an escape artist. He would require a home with a fence to keep him safe, unless you live in a remote area. Also, Nicky has "proven" that he is cat aggressive; therefore, a home with cats, or other small animals is not fitting. It is noted that Nicky is housetrained, but we house him outdoors, so it has been awhile since he has been inside. So we issue a word of caution, he may need to "brush up" on those house manners if you plan on keeping him indoors! Nicky is neutered, current on vaccinations, in good health, and ready to move on out away from "big brother" Noah. If you can help give Nicky that safe, new home he finds himself dreaming about, come meet him today! He has spent to many long years in rescue and we know if given that one chance – he will love you with all his might! (For information on Noah - please view his individual listing)
Home without cats preferred

Nicky is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
