More About Juna
Juna is about 14 years old, spayed, up to date with shots, all 4 declawed, and tests negative for FIV/FeLv. She was originally given up because when she ate too much food at one sitting, she would throw it back up. We been feeding her small amounts of wet food a few times a day, but leave dry food with her all day, and have had no problems with her.
She does seem to get stressed out if she is in a new place or even sees a dog and has to be kept in a low stress environment.
We feel that Juna was abused in some way in her past and her personality is very challenging, to say the least. She will be super sweet and then will sink her teeth in anyone in the same instant.
No matter what her or any other animals personality is under our rescue, they all deserve the best possible treatment, medically and physically.
Juna has been diagnosed with cancer in one of her lungs, with a partial collapse in the same.
She has been to the vet's multiple times, with a few of those times in oxygen for a quite a bit of time. She seems to bounce back with such a boost of energy and zest for life, we feel that she still does want to be with us, even if it is to bite us (LOL), she wants to be here.
We are going to continue to care for this special old gal as long as we can and she is enjoying herself.
Juna is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
