Dilute Tortoiseshell

Scarlett is a beautiful, gentle cat. She was given up be her former owner because she was "too shy" with their other cats, and indeed when she was in one of our suites she spent most of her time hiding in a cubbyhole. Since she's become one of our office cats, however, she's much happier. She lives in our Executive Director's office and is perfectly happy to watch people coming and going there; sit near her and call her name, and she'll reply and come out of her cat bed so you can admire her. She obviously likes people better than other cats and always loves to be petted and scratched. She tends to be on the vocal side. Scarlett would do best as an only cat, where she would blossom into a loving pet.
