More About Olivia

Hi, My name is OLIVIA and I'm an adorable 1-2 year old dachshund/corgi mix who wants nothing more than a family to love and a yard to run laps in ! See that first picture? See how I'm smiling? That's because I'm thinking of my new family........where are you? I am totally housebroken, smart as they come and a total love bug. I'm not the best on a leash yet - but give me a yard and another dog to play with and I'm in heaven. I love to wrestle with the other dogs in my foster home, and I LOVE nestling in your lap !!! I would be happiest in a higher energy home, one with someone who wants to play with me and wear me out- AND A FENCED IN YARD !!!!! When I'm tired - you'll know it too - I just crawl in my dog bed and its lights out ! I love other dogs and I'm only about 9 lil' bitty pounds! I'm ready for my forever family and I've been saving up some kisses just for you !!! DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta/North Georgia area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of the metro-Atlanta area. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachsies' back. If you are interested in adopting Olivia, you can fill out an application right at our website! Go to www.dreamrescue.org/Adopt. Then click on Our Online Application. Olivia's adoption fee is $200. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Olivia will go to her new home microchipped, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm tested. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees. You can also see DREAM's blog, The Rescue Life, at www.dreamdachshundrescue.wordpress.com, and follow us on twitter.

Olivia is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
