More About Trina
Trina is a very loving and gentle kitty who happens to be FIV positive. Her foster mom remarks on how active and kitten like she is. She is a typical lap cat and thrives on attention. Although there is no specific treatment for FIV, infected cats like Trina, can live long and healthy lives. It is important to keep her up-to-date on vaccinations, feed her a high-quality diet, and seek veterinary treatment at the first sign of illness.
Trina can live in a household as the only cat. Or, since the disease is only spread by bite wounds, Trina can live with a FIV-negative cat(s) as long as they get along well together. Careful monitoring of the cats’ behavior and minimizing the likelihood of fights would be important. Lastly, Trina could go to a home with another FIV positive cat(s).
Trina has been altered and has received all shots and vaccines needed for adoption.
