More About King Tut

King Tut is absolutely adorable and the coolest dog in town. On the small size for a Bully, Tut is a short and stocky little guy with big bones and big personality. He really is a cool boy and his charm is very hard to resist. Everyone is a friend for this outgoing little guy.

King Tut tries very hard to keep his cage clean. He looooove's to go on walks with the volunteers. Despite his difficult situation, Tut has not lost his moral. The staff is doing all they can to spend time with him and cheer him up when he gets too lonely... Kint Tut is such a social butterfly, we can only imagine how hard being without a family must be for him. He's keeping his chin up though and continues to smile at life with all his little.

All applications for Bully breeds in our program must be approved by Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. The organization provides breed education prior to adoption. If you are interested to adopt this dog, please fill out the On-Line Application, then come visit the dog at the shelter.

We don't know the background of many of the dogs that come to the shelter. We can only "guesstimate" the breed and age of those dogs. Size is also subjective according to individuals. Here's a chart on how we base our assessments:

Puppy: under 6 months old - Young: 6 to 12 months old. - Young adult: 12 months to 3 years old. Adult: 3 to 10 years old. Senior: 10 years

Small: Under 25 Lbs - Medium: 25 lbs to 60 lbs - Large: 60 lbs to 100 lbs - Xtra Large: 100 lbs

Our listings are updated DAILY. While we are not able to take pictures of all the companion animals that are at the shelter, we remove pets that are no longer available for adoption as soon as possible and usually within a few hours.

We have many more pets for adoption at the shelter and new animals arrive on a daily basis. Not all pets are featured in Pet Finder. To see all animals at the shelter, please visit our facility. 4400 Raytown Rd, KCMO, 64129. See Web Site for hours.
