More About Reba

Yippee for Reba! She found her forever home and a dandy one it is. Reba got her wish of being an only cat and will happily play the role of spoiled kitty :)

ORIG POST: Hi! My name is Reba and I'm looking for my Purr-fect Forever Home. Here's some of my story.... My former people dumped me in a farming town where I was very frightened and didn't know where to go or what to do. I got pretty hungry before I finally found a house that put some food out for me. I tried to talk them into keeping me (I'm really quite nice) but they said something about allergies and made me stay outside. Then I got lucky and I went to The Hundred Cat Foundation and got to stay inside someone's house so they could get to know me. Here's what I taught them about myself. I had never played before but now that I "get it" I'm having a grand time playing with jingly balls and fuzzy toy mice. As a matter of fact, my favorite place to play with them is in the bath tub! I also let them know that I'm okay with one or two other cats, but I will hiss at them at first just so they don't think I'm a sissy. If they get too close before I know them well enough I may swat at them. After a few weeks I learned to get along without hissing and I actually liked playing with a younger kitty. I let them know in no uncertain terms that I don't care for dogs. I hiss & spit and sometimes swat at their dog every time he goes by...sure wish he'd notice I'm doing it. And finally I let them know that I really, really, really love people. I love to be petted, I don't mind being picked up and carried, I love to sit near you on the couch or chair (maybe someday I'll get on your lap too) and did I mention I LOVE being petted. Okay, enough about me. How about coming over to Wiscoy for Pets in State College and telling me about you. I'll be hanging out there waiting for you.
