Basset Hound

Gretta was found tied up and abandoned when her owners moved away. She is about 5 years old and is a very sweet girl. Gretta gets along great with other dogs (especially males) and cats. She currently weighs 41 pounds and her left eye is half blue. She loves people and would benefit from having someone home with her most of the time. She loves snuggling on the couch, or is happy on a soft dog bed. She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a kiss on the cheek! Gretta would do best in a home with children aged 16 or over. We would prefer a Basset experienced home as this breed is not for everyone. Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay, vaccinations, heartworm test, de-worming and flea treatment.

All potential adopters must E-MAIL for an application. All of our dogs are located in foster homes in CT and can be seen by appointment only, with approved applicants.
