This is Peyton. He is a male Labrador Retriever blend who is about 1 1/2 years old, He is a very kind hearted little man and is definitely ready for a new start in life. You see, he was brought to the shelter by the owner’s father who is not a very kind man at all. He threatened to take little Peyton out to a back road and beat him to death if we did not take this “no ‘count dog that is not worth a thing.” So, of course, Peyton is staying with us and is doing wonderfully. Peyton is such a kind, people friendly, loving little boy – he definitely deserves a better life then what he had.
