More About Ace

ACE's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is PERSONAL ASSISTANT (Orange)

You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop on your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done. You'll wonder how you ever managed without me.

Interesting Stuff About ACE:

‘Ace in the Hole’ is an expression in poker that typically means one has something valuable that is not apparent to others. Generally the ‘ace in the hole’ turns out to be the winning hand. ACE is a lovely Tuxedo cat that has yet to find the person(s) that will realize that he is a winner. A little over three years old, Ace has already been adopted twice. His first adoption resulted in the discovery that a family member was allergic to cats. His second adoption didn’t work out because the resident cat didn’t accept him. Ace is feeling a bit misunderstood and rightfully so. He’s a gentle boy that will bow for pets. Once you stroke his incredibly soft fur, he will roll toward you for more pets. It is clear that Ace is just looking for love.

Ace is considered to be a ‘Tuxedo’ cat. According to Wikipedia, “A tuxedo cat is a bicolor cat with a white and black coat. The derivation of the term tuxedo cat is self-explanatory, as the animal appears to be wearing the type of black tie formal wear commonly known as a tuxedo. Most tuxedo cats are also black mask cats, a common name for felines who, due to their facial coloration, look as if they are wearing a black mask over their eyes, and often over their entire head.” Ace is truly a gentleman in his formal tuxedo wear. Although dressed up like he’s always ready for a party, he’s a pretty mellow guy. His yellow/brown eyes reflect that he’s happy just to hang out either by sitting next to you or in your lap. And how can anyone resist his adorable whimsical face with the cutest black dot on his nose and beauty mark on the side of his face?

From Ace’s previous adoptions we know that he gets along with kids and other cats that have a similar gentle nature. Ace is declawed which means his primary source of defense has been removed; therefore, it is best that he be in a home where he does not have to defend himself from aggressive cats or dogs. Ace is ready to be your ‘Ace in the Hole’. You can make his third adoption a winning one for both of you. Come meet him at the CAT Shelter in Sherwood.
