More About Todd

Posted 11-3-09. Todd is 5 years old and has lived with his family since he was a puppy. He is UTD on all his shots and is very well behaved. Unfortunately, his family can no longer keep him and he needs to find a new home. His mom tells us he loves to lie in the sun, sit on the deck and observe the backyard, take lots of walks (he walks well on a leash with the assistance of his "gentle leader" collar), and is a couch potato inside the house. He is a big guy weighing in around 70 lbs. Todd grew up with the family's three children. This home also has cat, so he does have "cat" manners! He rides well in a car, though it is probably not one of his favorite things to do. The family has an invisible fence which has worked for Todd.

Todd's original foster mom who has kept in contact with this family over the years can tell you that this is a great dog. He is laid back - a typical hound. He is very sweet and well behaved. However, he is a hunting breed, so he will spring into action if he picks up a scent. He is very lovable and will make a great addition to a family that is willing to accept his hound qualities, go for lots of walks and love all 70 lbs of this big guy.
