She and two other volunteers had just left a home where they had picked up the last 4 of 17 chained dogs from the same area I live in.
They came to pick me up too & immediately took me to the emergency vet clinic. I was in really bad shape.
The vet @ the emergency clinic said they hadn't seen anything so bad before. My two puppies had died a couple of days earlier & had started to decompose inside of me because they were too big for me to have. The vet said they were the size of 3 week old puppies & if I hadn't been brought in when I was, I would have died the next day too.
I'm not all that big, but some large dog bred with me & I couldn't do anything about it. I had a chain around my neck that had to be cut off @ the emergency clinic.
Needless to say, I am now a Spay/Neuter dog. The cost for them to save my life was over $1400.
If you could donate anything to help with my vet bill, I'd really appreciate it and I know they would too.
When I'm feeling better, I'll be looking for my new forever home.
