Boxer

This wonderful little pup is VELVET. She is a purebred Boxer and is 9 weeks old. Her father was a large Boxer and the mother a smaller size, I was told, so VELVET will probably be somewhere in between. Her nose is just like black velvet and so kissable and soft :o)

Because VELVET is still so very young there needs to be an adult home during the day to continue working with her on training and socialization. After she has received all her puppy vaccines, daily walks would help form her into a well balanced adult dogs. You must exercise this active breed.

Boxers MUST be properly trained and have committed humans. They take longer to mature and are 'puppy like' for over a year or more of age. These are not a breed of dog for a first time dog owner person or family.

A secure fenced yard is required. Home inspection will be done and I am sorry but I cannot adopt this pup to anyone in an apartment or condo where there is a common area for the dog to potty in.

Because of the playfulness of Boxers with their front feet, a puppy would not be a good choice in a home with children under about 8 years of age.

VELVET is too young to be spayed so a prepaid spay receipt is due from your veterinarian at time of adoption.
