More About Mcdougal

Mcdougal just turned 1 in July 2009. As you can see he has had some serious skin issues in his short life. His prior owner tried many different things with him. He did see a dermatologist and was receiving allergy shots. However, nothing seemed to be working, so the owner surrendered him to our rescue. Mcdougal has been taking Atopica for about 2 months now. It has made a huge difference for him. This is probably a medicine that Mcdougal will need to be on for a long time, especially if he stays in Florida. The generic Atopica costs about $1.50 a pill...... We think we can get away with one every other day. We tried to go every 3 days and his skin started to break out again....... Mcdougal is still on his series of allergy shots plus a supplement. Mcdougal is a very loving and playful Scottie. We will only adopt Mcdougal to a home with a physical fenced yard, at least one other Scottie and no children living in the home under 12 years of age. Mcdougal has not been around cats, so we do not know if he would do well with them or not.... Mcdougal's adoption fee is $300.00. Please email us and tell us a little about yourself if you are interested in adopting Mcdougal..
