More About Max

Max is a very good boy (2 years old and 44 lbs) who is active and curious and loves to explore his surroundings (but he's not a counter surfer and has great manners in the house). He is also doing very well with house training. He is very good with other dogs and children and loves playtime - especially playing fetch. He will chase a ball and bring it right back and wait for you to patiently throw it again. He is affectionate and loves to give kisses when you arrive home. He is very good in his crate at night and during the day for up to six hours when necessary. He is a hunter though, so his nose tends to lead the way, so just be cautious when opening doors to go outside because he is very quick. Max would do well in a home with a fenced yard so that he can explore away! Max is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm and flea preventative.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MAX, please fill out our Adoption Application. This is the first step in meeting the dog. Our web site is updated regularly, so if you see a dog posted here, most likely, he/she is still available. Please fill out an application and submit it as indicated on the app. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING!!!

Max is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
