More About Valentine
*Application required to schedule a visit with any dog, all dogs are in foster homes.
This gorgeous girl is Valentine, she has an absolutely beautiful, soft, lical/bronze colored coat. She's named for the small white heart on the back of her neck. Valentine is about a 2 year old dog and on the slightly larger size for a female pit bull. Valentine is about 65 lbs.
Valentine is an energetic, playful girl that loves to wrestle and chase and play with other dogs. She's needs an equally matched, friendly male doggie companion that can keep up with her or would be just fine as any only dog as well.
Valentine is sweet and loving and likes to cuddle and receive belly rubs. She can also be a couch potato in the evenings when it's time to chill as long as she's had plenty of exercise first.
Valentine loves all activities. She loves to go for walks, love to play fetch, loves to tug and absolutely goes nutso for her flirt pole. She loves any game especially the includes her people.
Valentine is a young dog that hasn't had any previous attention or even much human interaction. While she's eager to please and very people focused she will continue to need more help from her family to learn the ropes and become a great dog. She would really benefit from basic obedience and needs a family comitted to working with and providing training for their family dog.
For an active family with time to give Valentine she will be just the right fit. She's got a lot of love to give and will blossom in the right home. If you are an active, responsible, comitted dog loving family wanting to add a fun and playful new member this is your girl!

Adoption Requirements
*CPBR rarely makes same sex placements for purebred pit bulls, exceptions only for mixes and breed savvy, multi-dog experienced owners, all pets in the home must be spayed/neutered
*Adopters must be at least 25 years old (exceptions may be made for homeowners that show a history of stability and responsibility).
*We check property records. You must either be a home owner or get approval from your landlord and be able to provide us with contact info to verify that pit bulls are allowed.
*We are looking for responsible dog owners that can show they have done their research. These are people that undertand why pit bulls should not be taken to dog parks, left outside unattended, and why pit bulls should always be supervised with other animals.
