Update: Goldie's foster family has fallen for her charms and decided to keep her - lucky girl!!!! Come meet Goldie at Middle Island Library in Centerreach, NY 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Nov 14, 2009 Update from Goldie's mom: Little Miss Goldie is the cutest little thing. She may be a senior but she never stops prancing around. She will follow you anywhere & everywhere. She loves to be loved - just pet her and she's a happy girl. She prefers not to be alone - she even prefers to sleep with someone. She usually snuggles in bed with my young son (he really likes her). She likes to be held and snuggled. She whines if your not paying attention to her. I really think she was someone's little princess at one time. She gets along great with the cats and dogs. She's so good with my son - no growling or snapping. Like I said she's the cutest little thing - a total mush. Oh and she loves food, snack, treats, anything. Goldie was found in a shopping center parking lot! How this happened is beyond us. She is incredibly sweet and aside from having some infected teeth removed , she is in good health. Goldie is very active, choosing to explore with her nose EVERY new scent she can. What a sweetie. When Goldie meets children, her tail starts to wag furiously - it's obvious to us she shared her life with them. She pretty much ignores the house cats and is fine with all dogs.
