German Shepherd Dog, Yellow Labrador Retriever

This HANDSOME BOY is waiting for his BIG MOMENT to be adopted !! Sam is a 3 year old German Shepherd / Lab cross Neutered male. Update on rabies and distemper and is heart worm negative. He is light blond color, slim-light foot 80 pound dog and has lots of energy and needs active people. He is a very affectionate dog with a good disposition. Loves to go for leash walks -- but does need some training in the leash walking department BUT MHS is training him and he has improved so so much in walking. He likes the car and loves to play ball and run around in the yard. He does OK with other dogs - he has been in a doggie day care with all kinds of dogs. However, Sam would do best as the only pet, no cats or small toddlers but older kids 18 years and up are OK. His previous owner had no choice but to give him up and the other family members had to move and could not take Sam. He is looking for a loving caring responsible home that will KEEP HIM for good.
