More About Faith

The same man who brought us our babies, Alex & Nala came again. This time, he had a limp little puppy in a box. It did not move, and preferred laying on its right side. When we turned around to tell the man our decision to take the puppy in, he immediately drove off with the puppy left behind at our door! He was definitely not "finding" them in the park. He was most likely the one breeding his dog, and finding a place to abandon the puppies. Nevertheless, we took poor Faith in a towel, and right into our arms.

Faith is the same age and size as Alex & Nala (whom we believe are her siblings). She is about 7 weeks old. She is really just one special dog, because her fur is just so fluffy, unlike her siblings'.

Faith was taken to the vet recently, and diagnosed that her limp legs are a birth defect. When you sit her up, she would topple over. We were so upset about the news, but we want to help her. Her surgery to aid her legs would be about $3000. Unfortunately, this is money we do not have. Take a look at her, don't you just wish you can help her in any way possible? She can't even excrete properly because she cannot stand. Faith does not desserve such a life. So please, if you can donate anything, even a dollar to help her- we thank you so very much!

Please help our baby today! We just need to all keep our 'faith' in her so she will make it to see another tomorrow.

If you would like, you can adopt her to help her. Fill out this application first please.

UPDATE: After much discussion with our veterinarian, he had informed us that Faith cannot receive any kind of surgery. Instead, we are asking for donations in order to get her a set of wheels. Faith will receive a doggie wheelchair, which will enable her to be able to walk and experience life like she should be. The wheelchair would be $600. Once Faith receives that wheelchair, she will be able to walk and can be adopted. Thank you to all that have been helping Faith!
