More About Howie!
We found Howie in a crowded Philadelphia shelter, curled up in a ball trying to be brave, but deep down inside he was so afraid. Once out of the shelter and with someone he felt he could trust, he became the ultimate lap dog.
Because of Howie's coloring we think he might be a hound mix, maybe with some terrier mixed in. But we can't be sure. He really is quite adorable, and a great size.
We have found after months of trying to get Howie adopted, that he has fear and insecurity issues, that need to be addressed. He is now going through training which we hope will give him the confidence he needs, and to learn to trust. This training will hopefully make Howie more adoptable and we can find him the loving home he deserves. The training is for Life, and will transfer over to Howies adopters.
Howie! is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
