More About Major

Introducing……. The pocket Golden Retriever! Major is a Golden Retriever mix who weighs 37lbs and should be under 45lbs when full grown. He is perfect for the family who is looking for all the wonderful qualities of a Golden but prefers a smaller dog than the typical breed size. He loves to play with toys, and he could be a great Frisbee or agility dog! Major is an 8-10 months old and exhibits a submissive playful personality with a strong sense to please his “people” and other canine playmates. He is fully vetted housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained. Major is very smart and is learning basic manners quickly. He would do best in a home with another medium to large size young dog that could play with him a lot. He is very fun loving and learning quickly when to settle down and when to play. His loyalty and loving side will make him an excellent family member. Major knows sit, off, and down, and he has taught himself how to use the doggie door. Major is also learning to recognize and follow hand commands for basic obedience. Major thinks he is a little lap dog, and he loves to "talk" to his foster mom and dad and his other canine buddies. He has the most beautiful trill when he is excited and telling you all about it! Major will make an excellent canine playmate and family member. If you are interested in meeting Major, please email choctawcowgirl@verizon.net for an application. No children under 8 due to Major's puppy tendencies. Home, vet check, and wood fenced in yard required.

The $150.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.

Major is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
