More About Raja

I am an older woman, though I consider myself to be in the prime of my life. Much as a human of distinguished age, I care not what others think of me. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. It is so simple to be direct and honest.

A striking tabby, I am elegant and can still turn heads when I walk into a room. If I decide to roll over, you will see that my fur has a neon cast of orange, rather like a sunrise on a mountain. But I'll decide if I roll.

Although I thought I had been growling it clearly since my arrival, the humans here recently realized just how much I HATE CATS and moved me to a room where I do not have to suffer the presence, smell, or sight of other felines. I have been reborn! I greet my human friends with a squeaky lion cub roar, and rub my body back and forth across their legs. I repay their kind attention with lap naps, shoulder struts, face and hand kisses, and ear nibbles. I will bring a
smile to your face when I play with balls and toy mice: I still jump around like a kitten!

What I would like most is to find my forever home. I seek mutual respect from a quiet gentle adult human or two who live in a residence with no other animals. I would love to be able watch outdoor life through a window, or soak up warm rays of sunshine while I nap. Look into my bright eyes: behind them is a fascinating woman who knows what home means and who wants very much to love you. With your $100 I will come home with you, put an end to your boredom and add a definite presence to your adobe.

PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
