This guy will melt your heart when you look into his eyes. And, if you are not sufficiently melted, he also gives kisses! Xavier is a sweet older gentleman. He was found wandering alone outside, a bit confused and frightened as he is a senior kitty and hard of hearing. A kind person picked Xavier up and brought him to the vet, where it was determined that, aside from being a bit older and some hearing loss that comes with age, Xavier is in excellent health. He is also quite the charmer! The folks at the vet liked him so much that they let him stay for a few weeks until a spot at Black Cat Rescue opened up for him. He is loving foster care- regular meals, brushing and lots of soft places to sleep. The only thing missing is a person or family to call his very own! Xavier doesn't have much interest in the other cats in his foster home, but he is very polite and will tolerate them as long as they give him a bit of space. Because he is hard of hearing, Xavier would likely prefer to be an only pet, although he wouldn't rule out the right match (calm, gentle, maybe also a bit older). Come meet Xavier today!
