Missy was surrendered when her owner (a little old lady) died. Missy is a sweet older girl. She is great in the house and a perfect little angel. Missy came with her 'novel' of vet records for the past 13 yrs!
Missy is in great health and will make a wonderful compainon for an older or a single person. She is a sweet heart and is a lap babby and a snuggle bug. She loves to sleep in our bed at night. She gets along with all our dogs (from a great dane to a mean chihuahua.)
UPDATE: 11/18/09
Missy had a ful work up at the vet today (blood work, exam, etc). Her liver was slightly off, so we started her on Denosyl. Denosyl is rather inexpensive (about $40 a month) and she will need to be on it for the rest of her life. Other than that, she got a clean bill of health and Doc said she has a lot of life left to live. Well kept poodles can live well over 15yrs. Missy also got groomed today and she is now a diva!

(The adoption fee is designed to cover the cost of getting our rescues up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, heartworm treated-if needed, spayed/neutered, all other injuries/illnesses treated, monthlty heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, food, etc).

(Vetting costs are based on regular, full price charges at BAH.)
All of our pets are cared for by the fabulous staff at Berclair Animal Hospital and
Snowden Grove Animal Hospital. We are forever in debt to them (literally and figuratively). They do a wonderful job helping us and they truly love the work they do. Thanks guys!!
