More About Tigger

leaf line

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.

Hi, my name is Tigger.

I was found as a stray wandering the streets worrying how to care for myself. At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs taken care of like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love me. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young fellow, about one year old and I weigh around 42 pounds. I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

UPDATE: I AM NOW LIVING IN A WONDERFUL FOSTER HOME!!!!

My foster mom says that I am an active guy and would do well in an active family. Right now, I truly enjoy three 15-20 minute walks a day. She knows I am smart and can easily learn things. She has already taught me not to jump on her when she lets me out of my kennel. I love bath time and how fresh and clean I feel afterwards.

I do well inside because I don't chew on anything that I am not supposed to. I have my favorite ring toy to play with. At times, I will pick up a stray sock and toss it into the air. I am fine around the one-year boy in the house. He always wants to give me something. I will bark at a nearby dog but once the dog is next to me I just want to give it the sniff test so we can play. I don't pay any attention to cats.
