She sure is as pretty as a swan.. This happy girl loves people and enjoys meeting new friends. She is outgoing, playful and loving. Swan is on the small size for an Amstaff. Compact, muscular and very well proportioned, she is quite pretty. We think she would make an awesome family companion. Swan is fostered in a home with several dogs and cats. She is well socialized, crate trained and house broken. All applications for Pit Bull type dogs in our program must be approved by Missouri Pit Bulb Rescue. The organization provides breed education prior to adoption. If you are interested to adopt this dog, please fill out the On-Line Application Adopting one of our foster dogs allows you to have more information about how the dog behaves in a home. In addition, it opens a spot in the foster program so we can save another dog who is running out of time. Please consider opening your heart to a foster dog. We don't know the background of many of the dogs that come to the shelter. We can only "guesstimate" the breed and age of those dogs. Size is also subjective according to individuals. Here's a chart on how we base our assessments: Puppy: under 6 months old - Young: 6 to 12 months old. - Young adult: 12 months to 3 years old. Adult: 3 to 10 years old. Senior: 10 years Small: Under 25 Lbs - Medium: 25 lbs to 60 lbs - Large: 60 lbs to 100 lbs - Xtra Large: 100 lbs |
