More About Tonka Toy

Oh my am I ever cute! Hello big world! My name is Tonka, like the toys and trucks, and that is a perfect name for me because I am tumble and wrestle kind of guy. I love to meet new people and new dogs and play play play. I also love to give kisses and snuggle. I am a very friendly doggie! It's hard to believe that not so long ago, I was in an animal control place, it was really scary and I didn't think I was going to ever get out of there. But some nice ladies came and said I could go with them. So I went to the docdoc and got a bunch of shots, some snips "down there" and I am ready to rock and roll! I really love to chase a ball, chew the stuffin' out of a toy, and wrestle with other dogs. I also love the doggie park so I can run. Although I am friendly and affectionate, I do get nervous in new situations and places. It takes me a couple of minutes to get used to a new place or person, but once I do, I'm a sweet and playful companion. I'm about 2-3 years old, and I weigh about 18 pounds, a very nice size for laps and for walkies. I am housetrained. I am good with older kids as long as I am in a place I feel safe. I have not been around cats, so we don't know what I do with kitties. I would LOVE a home with another dog who likes to play. I probably would not do well in a home where I was all alone all day, I need some canine or human company. I really love to curl up next to someone on the couch or bed. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.dreamrescue.org and complete the online adoption application. My adoption fee is $200, and that goes toward my vetting expenses. I am up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. I am the full package, believe you me!

Tonka Toy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
