Siamese [Mix]

Mr. Blue (named for his beautiful blue eyes, of course.) from his foster mother, Katherine:

Mr. Blue is a great cat. He is playful and loving, curious and absolutely gorgeous. When he stretches his neck out looking for where a noise came from, he reminds me of a cougar in the wild. He loves to sit in the window and watch the leaves blow around. He jumps up when I’m sitting at the computer for me to pet him then he’ll watch me work and then will bat at the cursor on the screen. His favorite toy is one that hangs over the door and has a mouse on an elastic cord.

When he first came to me, he came with three other rescues. He was quite shy at first and crawled in the space between the wall and the desk and would come out only to eat for about a week. Once he started to trust me, he would always come out to greet me and get some caressing.. Now every time he sees me, he rolls over on his back so I can scratch his belly.

He is still very shy around strangers and will run to his space between the wall and the desk.. Also, he can be intimidated by other cats. He gets along with my other cats, but he’s easily pushed away from the food dish, especially when it’s canned food. He’s a lover, not a fighter. Also, he doesn’t like to be confined. He sleeps in his travel crate, but hates it when I close the door. He probably would do well in his own space where he can feel safe, especially in the beginning.

He may be a little trouble and may not warm up to you at first, but he is well worth both the trouble and the wait. He’s a beautiful, lovable and loving cat and I’m going to miss him.
