More About Buddy

I like Buddy! He is such a cool dog. He was surrendered by an owner that professed her love for her dog but then said she didn't want to take him with her when he moved. Unfortunately, she didn't care enough for him to give him monthly heartworm preventative.

Buddy tolerated heartworm treatment perfectly and has resumed his full activity level. He is doing phenomenally well! Buddy would make a great family pet for a family who is looking for a dog that would enjoy playing in the back yard, but would want to stretch out on the floor watching tv as well. Buddy is only about 2 years old.

Please email us at arlofnwga@gmail.com to request an adoption application and for additional information. Include the dog's name in the subject line of your email.

Love the dog, but now is not the time to adopt? Sponsor a Pet! You would be amazed at how much you can accomplish for just a few dollars. Click the “Sponsor Me" button above and:

Donate $5.00 and provide a toy for the dog that won your heart,

Donate $15.00 to feed a dog for the next month,

Donate $25.00 to fully vaccinate a dog for an entire year,

Donate $100.00 for minimum initial vet care for a healthy rescue dog.

Or, donate as much or as little as you can. As a no-kill organization, we do whatever it takes for our animals. Whether a rescued dog is heartworm positive, has mange, needs surgery or simply takes extra time to become socialized and ready for a new home, we invest in the love that we know these dogs have to give. Your donation will make a difference in a dog’s life!

This beautiful animal, along with many others, is available for adoption from Animal Rescue League of Northwest Georgia. Please call Judy Lawson at 678-848-1889 for more information.

Buddy is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
