Chihuahua [Mix]

Sweet little Peanut! She came out of a local animal shelter, where she had been surrendered by her owners for what they called a lifestyle change. Well, it turns out, poor little Peanut had a bladder stone the size of a golf ball! The stone has been removed, and our girl is doing great. If you are not in a position to adopt Little Peanut, perhaps you could make even a small contribution to help us recover the cost of her surgery & post op care!

Peanut thanks you! She is a happy little gal with spunk, but she definitely prefers to be in someone's lap. She is friendly with other dogs & cats and plays very nicely with her Foster Mom's 4yr old daughter. She is not very vocal at all, knows how to dance on her back legs and has the cutest little under-bite! Peanut is a terrific girl who would make a wonderful companion. She would really prefer a family that can be home with her, and not one that would be gone to work all day- she is a people dog after all :)

Once your application is approved we can make arrangements for you to either meet your chosen pet at one of our adoption events or we will bring him/her to your home for a "meet and greet."

Regarding adoption events, we hold such events almost every weekend in either Buford (PETSMART near Mall of Georgia) or the Roswell/Alpharetta area (PETCO on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell). We will be sure to bring this pet to the next event if you are interested in seeing him/her.

Please note that we charge a $150 adoption fee for each dog to help partially offset vet care expenses. We generally conduct home visits prior to finalization of each adoption. Many of our dogs require a fenced-in yard,
