More About Coco

Please contact Susan (sspencer19@rochester.rr.com) for more information about this pet.

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION ON FILE WITH RUDY'S RESCUE BEFORE CONTACTING OUR FOSTERS ABOUT ANY DOGS.

Coco is 7 years. Coco has lots of playful energy. She walks well on a leash. She loves to play with her balls and toys. She is housebroken and has full run of the house.

Very happy, outgoing, friendly and affectionate. She loves people, and greets them all without jumping. She is polite and respectful to guests. She would be great for a home with children. She has enough energy to be playful but enough training to know when its time to hang out on her dog bed.

Coco is very cuddly. She comes immediately when she is called. She loves car rides.

She is heartworm negative and on a monthly heartworm preventative. She is up to date on all of her vaccintations.

Update - 8-24-09 - Far from a couch potato, she likes to go on walks and loves interaction with people and children. She rides well in the car and wags her tail when she passes the car.She loves to give hugs and play fetch with her ball. Her bright brown eyes will melt your heart. She is knee-high. She's not too big and not too small. She does not chew things that are not hers and has no possession issues with food/toys.She is a quick bonder. As an owner surrender she is comfortable in family environment and trustworthy with kids. Coco hasn't had any formal training. She responds immediately when you tell her no. We are working on the Paw and the sit  command. She sits when children pet her.She loves treats so she would be easy to train with food rewards. She just really needs a forever home where she won't have the confusion of moving again. ****Coco is now in foster to adopt with an approved family. Please see our other dogs up for adoption at www.rudysrescue.org *******

**BEFORE YOU CONTACT THE FOSTER HOME ** If you want more information or would like to meet the dog, you must FIRST fill out an application, have references check, a home check and become approved. For approved homes, dogs over 6 months of age are available for our foster to adopt program.  The foster to adopt option is not available to puppies under 6 months of age.

Our adoption fee for dogs 1-7 years of age is $250; for dogs under a year, $350; and $200 for dogs seven years or older, or for dogs with serious handicaps.

Since we are a volunteer organization funded entirely by contributions, we count on your continuing support as well as your adoption fees to help defray the costs of caring for our foster dogs. We are delighted to accept any amounts over these minimum fees to help other dogs in our care.

If you can't help with a donation of money we are happy to have you help with your time.

Coco is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
