More About Farrah

ADOPTION PENDING!

Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs!  To learn about fostering dogs like Farrah, please contact us at luckydoganimalrescue@gmail.com!

Name: Farrah

Breed: Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog mix

Approximate Age: 6 months

Approximate Weight: 15 lbs now - about 30-35 lbs fully grown

Currently Living at: Farrah is in a very full high kill shelter and can be moved for an approved foster or adopter. Can you help us save Farrah?

Farrah is a very shy 6 month old blue heeler merle colored pup. She is about 15 lbs and will probably grow to about 30 lbs fully grown.

Farrah is very shy around people. She is also shy around other dogs, though she is beginning to be more comfortable. Shyness brings on fear, and so Farrah would do best in a home without small children. Her ideal owner would be an adult or couple who understands she is very shy and will need extended time to get comfortable in her new surroundings to trust people. She will need another, confident, well adjusted dog in the home to help her come out of her shell and show her how to become a happy, pampered house pet.

Farrah will probably never be an outgoing, gregarious dog but in the right home she can become a happy, well-adjusted and loving animal. Do you have the patience and love it takes to help Farrah turn her life around?

Like most shelter dogs, Farrah may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $280, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our
Adoption Questionaire and email it to Michelle at michellef@luckydoganimalrescue.org.
