More About Buddy

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR CANINE BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING. ALL INQUIRES FOR BUDDY SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE NUMBER BELOW.

Buddy is a 5 year old, handsome, Malinois mix. He will bond to anyone who makes him feel safe and feeds him treats. He is very affectionate and playful with those he trusts. Though Buddy is nervous when he first meets other dogs and some strangers, this conditioning can be corrected with management and proper Positive Reinforcement training.

Like all Malinois, Buddy is medium in size with short brownish-yellow fur. Although he does not shed badly, his current guardian says he loves to be brushed! Buddy is intelligent and learns quickly. He is trained on the Invisible Fence and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come.

Buddy is currently living with an adult, a young boy, and 3 other dogs who he gets along with fine. While he is much loved, his guardian does not have time to properly care for him due to extended work hours. Buddy deserves a home where he will get more attention and regular exercise.

Buddy is housetrained and in great health. He would do best in a home with low distractions. Children 10 or older would be fine; he has not lived with cats. Buddy is looking for a fun guardian who enjoys an active life style and will include him in activities! Buddy is a sweet boy who will make a wonderful addition to the right family.

For additional information about Buddy please contact Judy Moore of Canine Behavior Counseling, at 207-829-6043 or email Judyamoore@mac.com

Home without children (< 5 yrs old)

Buddy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
