More About Alice
Alice is a wonderful little puggle that we were happy to rescue. She is so loving and friendly. Alice gets along great with other dogs. This little lady is only about 2-3 years old. She is fully crate-trained!
Unfortunately, Alice is one of the many dogs that we have rescued who suffers from heartworms. Heartworms are easily and inexpensively prevented by simply giving the pet a once a month treatment either through a chewable tab or through a topspot product that includes heartworm prevention. Instead, many dogs are never given this simple prevention. Alice has completed her heartworm treatment. This month long treatment was not only expensive, but can be lethal to the dog. Fortunately, Alice sailed through the treatment and has resumed her playful ways!
