Shelby is a 1-2 year old girl, she was rescued from Madison County Animal Control when her time was up. Shelby is a very sweet girl, she has a bob tail and is just a doll. She was tested for heartworms and was positive. Her treatment will cost $75.00, if you would like to make a donation it is a tax deduction. If you are interested please fill out an on line application and email it to partners4petsadoptions@yahoo.com Adoption fee is $125.00Please come and visit our adoptable pets at Petsmart in Glen Carbon, IL the first Sat. and every Sunday and every Sat.but the first at the Florissant, MO Petsmart. Hours are from 11 AM til 4 PM. Adopt a pound pet! 9-2-09 SHELBY IS NOW THROUGH WITH HER HEARTWORM TREATMENT, SHE IS NOW READY FOR ADOPTION. SHE WILL HAVE TO BE ON HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVE FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. 9-6-09 SHELBY IS NOW IN FOSTER CARE WITH SUE AND HER DOG LADY. SHELBY IS A VERY NICE AND SWEET GIRL, SHE LIKES THE COMFORT OF A HOME. SHELBY SEEMS TO BE HOUSETRAINED AND HAS NOT HAD AN ACCIDENT, SHE ALSO LIKES THE COMFORTS OF BEING ABLE TO GO INTO HER CRATE TO REST. SHELBY NEEDS TO PUT ON SOME WEIGHT, SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH A TOUGH TREATMENT WITH HEARTWORMS. SUE TOOK HER FOR A WALK AND SHE DID WELL ON A LEASH. SHE WANTS TO PLAY WITH LADY BUT LADY JUST THINKS THAT SHE IS TO OLD FOR THAT. SUE FOUND OUT THAT SHE LOVES TO PLAY WITH DOGS AND THAT SHE ALSO LOVES CHILDREN. SHE IS WELL BEHAVED IN THE HOUSE AND A VERY GENTLE GIRL. 9-12-09 SHELBY WAS ADOPTED TODAY TO A VERY GOOD FAMILY AT OUR ADOPT-A-THON. GOOD LUCK SWEET GIRL.
