More About Nathan

Nathan and Morton were originally rescued by Stray Cat Blues from a Trap Neuter Return site in Harleysville as kittens. They were adopted out together shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, the man who adopted them then spent little to no time with them, eventually returning them to Stray Cat Blues. Because of their lack of human attention as kittens, these two brothers are on the shy side. They will need an adopter who is patient with them and will give them time to learn to trust.

These two boys are very laid back. Nathan is friendly, and likes to be petted, but does not come up into your lap. He purrs a lot.

Morton is not as overtly friendly. He is more shy and coy. He also likes to be petted, but is more tentative about it. He will stroll by, and if you happen to pet him that's ok with him. If you don't, he may stroll by again. Morton is not really sure about sitting in your lap, though may try it.

Morton almost never purrs. In the Morton and Nathan pair, Morton is the dominant cat, and is "braver". Both Morton and Nathan like to play with "da bird" type toys. Morton especially.

Are you willing to give Morton and Nathan their forever, loving home? These brothers have always been together, and we would like for them to be adopted as a pair. Two cats are twice the fun!

Morton and Nathan’s estimated date of birth is 5/22/2007. They are both neutered, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
