Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.

Please note that the first step is the application. Make sure before filling out an application that you have seriously considered adoption and have talked it over with all family members. You must also have a good idea that you like the dog you have seen on our site, as we do not preapprove applicants for a future dog that may come along.

Note: We do not adopt to families with children under the age of six and stick to this policy, as it is part of our insurance policy. We also only adopt in WI & IL. At times we are able to work with people in the Minneapolis area. Please also only to apply if you are ready to adopt now. We do not hold dogs or keep applications should a dog fit your needs in the future.

MY STORY: I am Oakley - a bouncy, bright, bundle of joy. I may be tiny but I have a huge personality and am chocked full of love and affection. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. My manners are very good, I sit and walk nicely on my leash. I am also housebroken. I love to cuddle up next to you or on you! Playing ball is one of my favorite past times. Even tho I am full of puppy energy, I am very obedient and come the minute I am called. Recently I discovered the hammock - if I time it just right, I can leap into it and really get swinging. Then when they least expect it - I hurl myself off on top of one of my other dog friends. It is so much fun, even tho sometimes they don't think so! My foster mom thinks I am very smart and can quickly learn to do all kinds of neat things. So if you have a ball and need someone to chase it or a lap that needs to be warmed, please come think about me.
