More About Itty Bitty Timone

Timone is a teeny tiny 5 lb. Chihuahua with a wonderful outgoing personallity. He is not a shy dog as many chi's are, so would be a great companion to take with you places. He has travelled cross country to Canada with his foster owner on an RV trip and did very well. Although, he does get cold easily and likes to wear his sweaters or be tucked inside your jacket. If you would like a little dog to take with you places or cuddle with you on the couch this is the one. He is so loving and will melt your heart right away. When you hug him up near your chest, he tucks his head and leans it against you like he is hugging you back....SO CUTE!

He is 6 years old and was an owner surrender. ( Who would want to get rid of this little guy?) He loves everyone, and gets along with other dogs(small dogs only please) cats and children, although because of his small size he will not be adopted out to a home with children under 10 years of age.

Timone still has accidents when his foster owner leaves him unattended so needs to be in a crate when no one is home, or have access to a doggy door. The first couple weeks in a new home, it will be important to keep a close eye on him or he will mark in the house. After that, he has been fine in his foster home as long as someone is home or he is in a crate or access to the doggy door. He does have a Luxating Pattella, which is like a "trick knee" and sometimes skips quite a few steps on one of his back legs. It is common for small dogs and we suggest that he is on an over the counter joint supplement to help postpone premature arthritis. He will go into a new home with a supply of them, he eats them like treats!

He sometimes whines in his crate during the day when his foster owners first come home and don't let him out right away. Hey, he would prefer a couch with a blanket to sleep under or a sunny window...who can blame him! He does not whine/bark in his crate at night. Other than his tiny whining in the crate during the day, he is very quiet.

Could you give this little guy the loving forever home that he deserves? He is a real gem. Due to his luxating patellas, Timone's adoption fee is only $50 plus a $16.99 microchip registraion fee. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Itty Bitty Timone is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
