More About **I NEED a miracle

Date of Birth; November 11th 2009
Weight; 40 lbs ( as of 9/13/09)

UPDATE: 10/9/09
Nala needs surgery as soon as possible. She gasps for air anytime she moves, just going outside long enough to tend to business makes it almost impossible for her to breath.
The surgery is expensive and there are no guarantees, PLEASE please please keep this lil girl in your prayers!!!

We would welcome any donation in any amount to help Nala ( and dogs like Nala) to live long and happy lives.

Hi there, My name is Nala. I am a  young Golden Retriever girl with a zest for life.
I have trouble breathing, the Vets thought I have what is called Laryngeal Paralysis which means I need surgery in order to be able to breath ( it’s those flaps in the back of my throat that don’t open and close correctly which cause me to gasp for air). If you don’t know what Laryngeal Paralysis is here is a link that explains it
Here is a link that explains the surgery.

Then  I had a fungal infection in my lungs so I took more antibiotics. Well, then one day I had a really high fever ( 105+) and I threw up, didn't drink or eat and I crashed. Mom rushed me to the vet who put me on IV and meds and kept me to try and pull me through and I did ( did I say I have a zest for life?).
Well, after my fever episode my hind legs are sorta wobbly, the vet thinks this is neurological and I think they are pretty much all at their wits end but mom has not given up on me yet ( and trust me I am SOOOOO glad she hasn't) she says there has to be a reason for all my illnesses and she says she'll keep on looking until she finds the answer ;-)
Mom told me no matter what I will always have a home right here where I grew up and I will not want for anything. If it means more x rays, blood work, seeing specialists.........so be it.
Ya know mom spend a fortune on my vet bills already and I will probably be running up more bills, if you would like to help out with my vet bills I would be ever so greatful. (There is no money in Rescue but there are always dogs like me who would not have a chance of being a pet if it wasn't for folks like my fostermom.)

From the bottom of my heart I thank you.

Please keep me in your prayers ( I KNOW miracles do happen and I am determent to show mom I am one of the miracles) from the bottom of my heart 'I Thank YOU'.
